Read and electrify yourself with this Time article that illustrates the 100 best places in the world. The article is structured as a website and it’s divided into three sections: what to visit, where to stay, where to eat and drink. Museums, parks, restaurants and everything that an out-of-the-ordinary experience can offer to a visitor, are described. The most beautiful and unique places that someone around the world has found for you, you who are a curios traveler.
I get tachycardia by reading that there is a museum of digital art in Tokyo and I still haven’t visited it. The museum celebrated its first million visitors only 5 months after opening. While I continue to read the article I think it would not be bad at all to plan a visit to Helsinki to the library of the future. Not only the best places to visit in this article but also the best and original hotels and alternative places. So the eco boat, with all the comforts, those of the prestigious Relais and Chateaux circuit, which takes you for a walk in the Galapagos. It seems to me a splendid choise.
Even better the hotel Astir Palace in Athene, right on the Aegean Sea. An hotel renovated and purchased by Four Seasons that has seen such illustrious guests as Onassis.
And then again the unique places to eat and drink. I would choose Raffles in Singapore, where I went when I was only eleven, a wonderful experience that I still carry with me. Or at the new Indigo in Houston, Texas to sample the neo soul food. And why not in New Zealand to Hiakai to taste the Maori cuisine?
Only two Italian destinations, the Galli theater in Rimini, reopened after 75 years and restored after the severe damage of the bombings of World War II and the Castle of Santa Severa near Rome.
