As soon as I arrive in Atlanta I try to convince my kids to go to the Museum of Contemporary Art. It is not easy. And it’s up to me to treat, as always. Tomorrow in exchange museum of Coca Cola and aquarium. On Fridays the museum remains open until 9:00 pm and it seems to me an excellent opportunity.
The museum is really beautiful, even architecturally. But there are no discounts for boys, they pay full price. Fifteen dollars.
We start our visit with the temporary exhibition on Andy Warhol. The works on display are really numerous and belong to a single collection. We continue with Paul Graham’s photographs and the twentieth-century American design. The exhibits are well cared for and attentive to the pedagogical function of the exhibition. The boys were very much involved in the chromatic universe and the visions of the two artists. It was more difficult to intercept plausible answers to their many questions. And say that they would not have wanted to be there!
